Here's our team of Collaboration Club consultants

Resource Efficiency Collaboration Club
Andy McKenzie

Andy has managed and delivered a range of energy efficiency projects across the commercial, domestic and community sectors. Andy, with Partner to Succeed, developed a Resource Efficiency Collaboration Club to help businesses reduce their costs and on average this has saved clients 10-15% on their energy bills.

His expertise from nearly 10 years in the environmental sector has helped many businesses identify and implement energy efficiency, carbon reduction and environmental management measures to reduce their running costs and environmental impacts.

The work Andy delivers enables clients to develop more sustainable business strategies and build stronger relationships with current and prospective customer groups, the wider community and other stakeholders.

Managing Capacity Collaboration Club
David Bone

With over 13 years experience as an MD, David Bone grew his last company from under £1 million to a £5.8 million turnover and then like many others experienced a downturn during the recession, repositioning the company accordingly.

Under his tenure the company won numerous awards including the ‘Queen’s Award for Export’, ‘Parcelforce Best Exporter Award’ and a ‘Cornwall Business Award for Best Diversification’.

Needless to say David understands the challenges of managing a progressive SME and considers the effective management of capacity as a key element in maintaining control.

David epitomises the modern leader, who recognises that his success ultimately rests with his ability to get the best from not only himself, but from everyone that is involved with his business, whether it be employees, customers or suppliers.

His inclusive management style was nationally recognised by his peers in 2005, when he was presented with the national ‘Sage Daily Telegraph Business Award’ for best business leader. As a result of his best practice he was endorsed in 2010 as a Chartered Director by the Institute of Directors.

Sales Growth Collaboration Club
Tom Wyness

Tom utilises his 15 years experience as a sales professional, Manager and Director in a variety of organisations. From SME to multinational Tom has provided consultancy and training to businesses looking to improve sales, marketing and business development performance.

Having worked with, and trained sales professionals and managers in over 100 businesses, Tom has developed specialist tools such as ‘Sales Audits’ and ‘Performance Analysis Assessments’ in order to analyse and identify the simple changes required to increase sales performance.

With Partner to Succeed Tom has delivered a ‘Sales Scorecard’ to over 60 businesses to date. He has been able to provide recommendations focusing on simple techniques and plans to help these businesses increase sales as well as identify potential collaborative partners to create sales efficiencies or develop new markets.

General Electric and Better Place, an electric vehicle (EV) services provider, have announced a technology and financing partnership to accelerate the global deployment of electric vehicle infrastructure through collaboration.

There are four key areas involved in this collaboration: standards-based technology development, battery financing, joint fleet electrification programs and consumer awareness.

The partnership combines GE’s global scale, broad technology portfolio, smart grid expertise, and its new WattStation™ electric vehicle charger with Better Place’s EV services and infrastructure solution to create scalable solutions that power electric vehicles for nearly all consumers and fleet owners.

“GE values the power of collaboration and this partnership with Better Place is about large and small companies aggregating their strengths to advance electric vehicle infrastructure deployment,” said Beth Comstock, GE senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “By integrating our WattStation with this service solution, we can help digital energy transform our roadways and provide a cleaner, more sustainable transportation alternative.”

“Almost three years ago, Better Place identified the transformation from oil to electricity as the last massive ‘digitization’ of energy, and a significant economic opportunity globally,” said Shai Agassi, Founder and CEO, Better Place. “Our collaboration with GE is another significant step forward for Better Place as we seek to assemble a formidable ecosystem of industry leaders including Renault, HSBC and now GE that can help us scale our model globally. Our team of partners is committed to accelerating the acceptance of electric cars as more affordable and more convenient than our gasoline heritage.”
